The Mechanic maintains and repairs equipment and other industrial machinery, including but not limited to, conveying systems, production machinery, and packaging equipment. Non-exempt role; Reports to Direct Supervisor / Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently. Essential Qualifications:High school or equivalentAbility to diagnose and repair equipmentGood communication and organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to prioritize and work self-directed and alone at timesTechnical training and/or industrial related industrial maintenance experience Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband PolicyComply with company and client job site safety requirementsMust not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplaceFunctional Requirements:Keep machinery in working order by detecting and correcting errors before the machine or the products it produces are damaged; perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment; records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts; prepares reports documenting work performed; performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction CompensationFinal agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
