Job description
Paul Mitchell the School Boise is seeking a qualified Cosmetology Learning Leader (Educator) to join our team! With over one hundred schools nation-wide, Paul Mitchell Schools is growing faster than ever. Not only do we offer an education second to none, we also make time for personal and communal growth through opportunities such as FUNraising, team trainings, student clubs and activities, fashion shows, photo shoots and much more. This position is located in Little Rock, AR.Clinic and Classroom Learning Leader Role Classroom and clinic Learning Leaders plan and facilitate classes from a accredited and approved curriculum specific to Paul Mitchell Schools. The objective is to meet graduation requirements for hands on and theoretical knowledge in a fun and engaging classroom and clinic classroom. Our school plans classes that cater to all multiple intelligences and learning styles.What We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate will have successful previous teaching experience and strong leadership skills as well as experience with Paul Mitchell products. He or she must be self-motivated to meet goals, as well as inspire, inspect, and coach team members in all clinic floor systems including up-selling, rebooking, and guest service systems. This position requires experience in positive and effective communication, customer service resolution and teamwork. Must be able to think on their feet and problem solve in a fast paced environment and multi task.Skills/Competencies Required: Experience instructing at a cosmetology school or adequate experience in the industryCurrent Oklahoma state cosmetology licenseExcellent organization, coaching, and communication skillsSkills in supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investmentSolid work history with verifiable referencesPassion for the beauty industryHonesty and professionalismKnowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is preferredPaul Mitchell The School Boise is an equal opportunity employer.
