They help protect their teammates, our customers, and the traveling public while supporting utility, restoration, and infrastructure projects throughout Washington.We're building our Traffic Control Division with people who take pride in their work, communicate well, look out for one another, and want the opportunity to keep learning and growing.If you're dependable, safety-focused, enjoy working outdoors, and want to build a long-term career in construction, we'd like to meet you. What You'll DoAs a Flagger, you'll play a critical role in keeping our jobsites safe and organized.Responsibilities include:Safely direct vehicles, pedestrians, and equipment through active work zones.Set up, maintain, inspect, and remove traffic-control devices in accordance with approved Traffic Control Plans.Maintain awareness of changing traffic, weather, jobsite, and crew conditionsmunicate clearly with other Flaggers, TCS personnel, supervisors, construction crews, and the public.Help ensure signs, cones, barricades, and other devices remain properly positioned throughout the shift.Identify and immediately communicate unsafe conditions.Keep traffic-control vehicles, equipment, and devices clean, organized, and ready for use.Assist other Cannon crews with appropriate work when traffic-control responsibilities allow and proper training has been provided.Represent Cannon professionally on every jobsite.Required QualificationsCurrent Washington State Flagger Certification.Valid driver's license.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical job duties for extended periodsmitment to Cannon's standards for Safety, Quality, Integrity, and Teamwork.Preferred QualificationsTraffic controlUtility constructionTelecommunicationsAsphalt or concrete restorationCivil constructionReading Traffic Control PlansWorking around heavy equipment or utility crewsDon't meet every preferred qualification?
