The custodian participates in the mission of Cardinal Kung Academy by caring for the facilities of the school on a day-to-day basis, ensuring a safe, clean, functional, and aesthetically pleasing learning environment for students, teachers, and visitors. Working closely with the Director of Operations, the custodian executes a regular cleaning routine while also attending to emergent needs and performing minor repairs. The ideal custodian will also be thinking of ways that the school facility can be improved, through his/her efforts and with the aid of volunteers.
This is a part-time, hourly position. The custodian will work after school on a daily basis for 2-3 hours. As students may be present, the candidate must be able to pass a background check and complete VIRTUS training.
