Admissions Counselor

The primary purpose of this position is to function as an Admissions Counselor for for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This position will recruit and cultivate prospects, applicants, and admitted students through direct participation in a variety of activities, articulate admissions procedures and requirements to prospective students, parents and counselors, evaluate credentials and make independent decisions regarding individuals’ candidacies for admission to UNCG, and positively affect admitted students’ decisions to matriculate to UNCG. Minimum Qualifications

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree, ability to work independently with little to no supervision, strong interpersonal skills, a valid driver’s license, ability to make research based decisions regarding the potential for success of specific recruitment initiatives.

Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates Preferred Qualifications

• One year experience in admissions.
• Bilingual.
