Job description
Work Schedule: 100 FTE%, 40 hours per week, evening/night shifts.
Monday through Friday 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking an ECG Technician (Electrocardiogram Tech): * Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) and apply various longer term ECG monitors (24hrs to 30 days) on patients. * Opportunities to educate both adult and pediatric patients on testing procedures. * Ensure that patients are positioned correctly, apply electrodes accurately, and assess the quality of ECG tracings. * Opportunities to facilitate stress testing under the supervision of cardiologist, advanced practice providers or clinical exercise physiologist. * Collaborate with all levels of clinical staff throughout the hospital. * Gain valuable hands-on clinical experience while learning on the job.
