Wine/Spirits Delivery Driver: Touch Freight CDL Class A/B

RNDC is looking for energetic Delivery Drivers that possesses a Class B or A CDL license. As a member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the products we sell are delivered on time, and orders are filled accurately. We ensure that you have the training and support you need to make a meaningful difference. Drivers are responsible for making deliveries and providing best in class customer service to an established set of customers including grocery store, liquor stores, hotels, bars, restaurants, convenience store and other venues.

In this role, you will:

· Accurately delivers all products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer’s account by hand truck.

· Properly conducts a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects. Abides by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type.

· Safely operate commercial vehicle and properly conduct a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects.

· Makes an average of 20 timely deliveries a day. May deliver more accounts during high volume seasons.

· Verifies receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product against invoice, obtains customer signature and payment if necessary, for goods received.

· Ensures physical security of truck at all times.

· Provide regular feedback to management in terms of route changes, concerns or areas of opportunity.

· Abides by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type.

· May utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours of service (HOS) software, point of delivery (POD) invoicing and/or driver monitoring programs.

What you bring to RNDC: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, two years delivery experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

· Requires a current Class B CDL driver's license (Class A CDL license also allowed and may be required for positions based on location); ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.

· Must be able to obtain valid DOT medical certification card and file appropriately with state Motor Vehicle Department

· Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state

Bonus if you bring

• 3+ years of commercial driving experience
• Previous experience in the Wine and Spirits industry

• Requires a current state driver's license; Class A/Class B and ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements

• Must be able to obtain valid DOT medical certification card and file appropriately with state Motor Vehicle Department if driving vehicles between 10,000 GVW and 26,000 GVW
