Job descriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in Mastercam programming and operation of HAAS CNC machines to join our precision manufacturing team. This role is critical to producing high-tolerance components for the aerospace and defense industries, requiring a strong understanding of machining principles, quality standards, and CAD/CAM :-Program CNC machines using Mastercam for 3-axis and 5-axis milling operations.-Set up and operate HAAS vertical and horizontal machining centers.-Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.-Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies to optimize efficiency and precision.-Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs.-Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes per aerospace and defense standards.-Troubleshoot machining issues and make real-time adjustments to programs and setups.-Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant standards.-Maintain accurate documentation of setups, tool lists, and inspection reports.-Support continuous improvement initiatives in machining processes and workflow. Qualifications:-Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in aerospace or defense manufacturing.-Proficiency in Mastercam programming and post-processing for HAAS machines.-Strong knowledge of HAAS controls and machine maintenance.-Familiarity with aerospace materials (, titanium, Inconel, aluminum alloys).-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.-Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.-Understanding of AS9100, ITAR, and other industry-specific compliance requirements.-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. $40+ per hour #MCTA1
