Job description
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
The role involves assembling and disassembling engines to conduct various tests, including validation and certification tests, within engine test cells. You will collaborate closely with a team of three engineers, focusing on standard work creation for new engine assembly and disassembly, providing necessary tooling for mechanics, and conducting simple design work.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble engines for testing purposes.
- Conduct validation and certification tests on engines.
- Develop standard work procedures for new engine assembly and disassembly.
- Design and provide specific tooling required by mechanics for engine disassembly.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to fulfill various requests and ensure smooth operations.
Essential Skills
- Experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in tool design.
- Strong mechanical engineering skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with engines.
Work Environment
The work environment involves working in engine test cells, requiring hands-on assembly and disassembly of engines. Engineers will need to work collaboratively, employing mechanical and tooling design skills to meet the demands of the role.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Mossville, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.44 - $31.25/hr.
