• Thank you Join the WeVote Movement WeVote has several open volunteering positions for QA Automation Engineers to help strengthen American Democracy via our Web and Mobile applications.
• These are long-term, VOLUNTEER opportunities with an Oakland, CA-based non-profit organization.
• It is expected that you will commit to no less than 6 hours per week for the next six months. About Us WeVote is a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote nonprofit startup and a celebrated Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee.
• WeVote is building a movement of excellent, passionate, part-time volunteers (starting with the founders) who build mobile technologies that will touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day.

• We have a goal of providing a positive voting experience that helps people decide how to vote.

• What You'll Do Your role as a QA Automation Engineer is to write scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests.
• Using different automation tools, you will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.
• Your goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code.
• We do also ask all everyone on our QA Automation Engineering team to do some manual testing and manual verification each week.
