- Work with administrative staff to coordinate all individual and team travel planning and logistics.
- Coordinate athletic camp and clinic scheduling and planning; process associated financial transactions and reconcile as appropriate.
- Coordinate HR job posting processes for graduate student positions.
- Assist with recordkeeping for areas of responsibility to include filling, processing invoices/requisitions, and creating electronic files as appropriate.
- Assist with budget management.
- Assist with scheduling and planning of special meetings and campus visits for special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations and analyze financial records.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with athletic staff, members of other University departments, students, and the general public.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
Required Education Bachelor’s Degree. Required Work Experience One (1) year of administrative and or coordination experience supporting complex offices and/or athletic operations. Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field, preferably in Sports Management.
- Higher education experience in an athletics office.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations None specified. Work Hours Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with extended hours as needed to meet departmental goals. Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 10lbs of office supplies.
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat to retrieve office supplies.
- Ability to actively engage in events for extended periods of time.
- Ability to regularly move about campus during standard duties, as well as attend meetings on campus.
