Equipment Operator

POSITION: Equipment OperatorREPORTS TO: Operations ManagerLOCATION: Fresno, CA SALARY RANGE: $20.00 to $30.00/hour, DOE Company Overview: Caglia Environmental is a family-owned and operated company with a proud legacy of over 80 years in the Central Valley. Our team plays a vital role in helping to build cleaner, greener communities, and we're always looking for motivated individuals who want to make meaningful impact through their work.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate various loaders, excavators, skid steers, water trucks, forklifts, and other equipment around the facility.Responsible for the safety of all staff, contractors, and visitors onsite while operating equipment.Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is safe and operational at all times.Perform formal pre and post inspections and complete accurate inspection reports in writing.Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable materialmunicate with spotters to ensure the safety of all customers, team-members, and drivers in the yard.Ensure that all related documentation is completed in a timely manner.Monitor outbound loads to ensure trucks are being loaded to the required weight and make sure trucks are being loaded in a timely manner.Assist in various clean-up projects with and/or without equipment.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):Two years of related experience operating equipmentHighly self-motivated with ability to complete tasksAbility to work in fast paced environmentAbility to work overtime and/or weekends when neededMust be willing to work in an outdoor setting with exposure to various weather conditions, dust, odors, noise,Ability to lift 50lbsBilingual; English/Spanish-Preferred but not required
