This family-owned business has been around for 60 years with over 75 stores and is continuing to grow.Position overview:We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and assist in managing staff and inventory. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Benefits: $.15 off/gallon every day except Tuesday enjoy $.20 off/gallonReceive 30% off in store for up to 5 selected items/dayFree car wash, vacuum, and airGym Membership DiscountTuition ReimbursementKey Responsibilities:Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service. Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.Address customer inquiries and concerns, professionally resolving issues. Maintain the cleanliness of the store and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.Skills & Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or olderRetail experience desiredTraining experience preferredMust be able to open and close stores across Sunday through Saturday schedulePrevious experience in customer service preferred.Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers and POSBasic math and computer skillsEffective communication skillsAbility to manage skills and work with the team to accomplish tasks.Customer and Employee-focused Ability to learn about and train products available in storesAbility to maintain composure in the face of angry, frustrated, or flustered customers.Ability to adjust schedule, task, and priorities as needed to assist with business needsMust have a safe driving recordMust be willing to submit to MVR monitoring and possess a valid Utah Driver's License
