As a Winter Lift Operator, you'll help create safe, smooth, and memorable experiences for every guest who rides our lifts. You'll spend your days outdoors, working closely with your team and other mountain departments, and connecting with guests while surrounded by the beauty of Sundance. What You'll DoYou'll welcome guests and make sure they feel taken care of from the moment they arrive at the lift. You'll monitor, start, and stop lift operations, assist with loading and unloading, organize lift lines, monitor the ticket gantry, and keep lift areas safe and organized. You'll help maintain snow around the stations, set up and break down mazes, and communicate with supervisors and safety staff to keep everything running smoothly.A big part of this role is supporting guest experiences. Whether you're scanning passes, answering questions, or helping someone new to the mountain, you'll be a resource and a friendly face. When unexpected situations arise, you'll stay calm and handle them with professionalism while keeping the focus on safety and enjoyment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
