Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager throughout the full project lifecycle, from early pre‑construction coordination through installation and closeout. This role focuses on day‑to‑day project coordination, documentation, scheduling support, and client communication, helping ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and aligned with client requirements. The Project Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager, internal teams, contractors, and clients to manage administrative and coordination tasks across multiple active projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager with early project coordination, including gathering project inputs and supporting estimating and quoting efforts
- Help track revisions to project scope, pricing, and documentation as additional information is received
- Support coordination of construction plans and documentation prior to execution
- Assist with project setup following contract award and support execution through installation and closeout
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to support schedules, logistics, and scope alignment
- Assist with permitting coordination, contractor communication, and site readiness activities
- Track manufacturing schedules, delivery timelines, and installation milestones
- Support client communication by helping prepare updates, documentation, and status reports
- Assist in managing differing client standards, documentation requirements, and reporting needs
- Utilize Procore for project scheduling support, document control, and tracking
- Maintain organized project records, schedules, and correspondence
- Support the Project Manager in managing multiple active projects simultaneously
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination
- Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
- Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr.
