Project Engineer

Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the project team on smaller, less complex projects.

Position Details

• Estimates the impact of project changes and provides information to applicable management.
• Manages change orders. Ensures they are completed accurately and tracked as required.
• Procures equipment and materials and services; and participates in the selection and hiring of subcontractors.
• Stays current on emerging trends.
• Analyzes and resolves basic questions and problems as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent education, training and experience
• Basic ERP skills to include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing design
• Ability to read mechanical and plumbing drawings
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office, such as Excel

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For California, this ranges from $89,316.00 - $105,556.00 yearly plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
