| Essential Functions • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, accurately documenting all care provided on medical administration records. • Provide or assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene. • Maintain security, safety, and cleanliness of medication carts and medication storage areas, reporting discrepancies promptly to the supervisor. • Take and record vital signs, observe residents’ conditions, and report changes in health or behavior to the Assisted Living Coordinator or nursing staff. • Assist with resident meals, ensuring proper feeding support and safe dining experiences. • Support resident participation in recreational, social, and therapeutic activities. • Follow infection control, safety, and universal precaution protocols to ensure resident and staff safety. • Uphold resident rights, confidentiality, and professional standards of care. • Use safe body mechanics and proper equipment when lifting, transferring, or assisting residents. • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident records and daily logs. • Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors, and staff. • Participate in care planning, staff meetings, and required training sessions. • Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and equipment cleaning as needed to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. |
