Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM); 1st and 2nd late shifts required | No call, no weekends, no holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within a one-day surgery center environment
- Support a variety of surgical specialties including plastics, orthopedics, ENT, eye surgery, pediatric urology, and pain blocks
- Utilize EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation and charting
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the operative experience
- Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs are provided
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered New York State RN License
- BLS certification (current)
- Minimum 12–24 months of operating room (OR) nursing experience
- Experience with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with plastics, orthopedic, ENT, or eye surgery cases
- Experience with pediatric urology and pain block procedures
