- Jacksonville, FL (and surrounding areas) Employment Type: Freelance / Contract About the Role: Sight & Sound Productions is seeking experienced Freelance Audio Technicians to support live corporate and special events throughout Northeast Florida.
- You’ll work with our production team to deliver exceptional sound quality for meetings, galas, and large-scale events.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and strike professional audio systems for live events Mix front of house and monitors for small to large-scale events Work with wireless microphones (Shure ULXD, AXIENT), DSPs, and playback systems Collaborate with producers, video, and lighting teams to ensure seamless event execution Maintain a high standard of professionalism and client service on-site Qualifications: 2+ years of live event audio experience preferred Strong knowledge of mixing consoles (Yamaha, Midas, Allen & Heath etc.) Familiarity with wireless coordination and signal flow Strong teamwork and time management skills Reliable transportation and willingness to work nights/weekends Strong problem-solving and communication skills Availability for local travel Ability to lift 50 lbs Powered by JazzHR
