Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
- Full-time CRNA locum coverage needed, requiring availability 40 hours per week (4 weeks per month)
- Start date anticipated for January or February 2027
- Locums may work 12 consecutive months, followed by a mandatory 6-month break before returning for another 12-month period
- Must be willing to work a variety of shift lengths including 8, 10, 12, and 14-hour shifts, as well as night call
- Call is required; candidates must be open to one weeknight per month and one weekend per month of call coverage
- Cases are predominantly trauma; CRNAs perform spinal blocks only no regional anesthesia
- Coverage across two locations (will not rotate facilities within the same shift)
- 17 main operating rooms, 7 day surgery center rooms, plus specialty areas including cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology
- EMR system: EPIC
- Patient age demographic includes children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients; 90%+ of patients are over the age of 12
- Must be proficient in OB care and capable of working independently, including conducting own pre-ops in a non-supervised practice model
- Idaho license highly preferred; NBCRNA, DEA, and Idaho Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required
