Job Description:
We are seeking a CI/CD Platform Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve a reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery platform. In this role, you will work closely with a team of platform engineers supporting cloud infrastructure and developer platforms that enable engineering teams to efficiently build, test, and deploy software.
The ideal candidate has strong cloud and DevOps fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Hands-on experience with tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
- Experience working with AWS cloud services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
- Experience working with Linux systems and troubleshooting infrastructure issues
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience with Ansible Tower
- Experience with Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager
- Cloud certifications (AWS preferred)
What You'll Do
- Build, maintain, and support CI/CD platform services alongside a team of platform engineers
- Design and implement automation to improve software delivery processes
- Create and maintain platform health metrics, dashboards, and monitoring solutions
- Support infrastructure and application deployments across cloud environments
- Apply security, compliance, and observability best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support rotations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt platform tools and capabilities
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance, and developer productivity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and software delivery best practices
- Experience building and managing software artifacts, containers, packages, and repositories
- Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts, including SBOMs, dependency management, and secure build practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
