Assistant Golf Professional

Overview

The Plantation Golf Club is looking for a motivated, personable, and team-oriented Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This is a great opportunity for a golf professional who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing an exceptional member experience, and wants to continue growing within the golf industry.

The position will be involved in all areas of our golf operation, with a strong focus on member engagement, daily operations, tournament programming, and creating a welcoming environment for our members and guests. We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, takes initiative, communicates well, and enjoys being part of a team that works together to deliver a great experience every day. Start and end dates are flexible for the right individual.

Experience Required

• PGA Member/Apprentice in good standing with the PGA of America.

• Strong knowledge of the game of golf, handicapping, Rules of Golf, golf operations, and tournament management.

• Experience and confidence with club repair and club fitting.

• Familiarity with TrackMan launch monitor technology.

• Knowledge of Golf Genius, Clubessential POS, Microsoft Excel, and Word.

• Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to take initiative.

• Strong communication, organizational, planning, and time-management skills.

• A team-first attitude and a genuine passion for working with members, guests, and fellow staff members.
