Provide a short description of the Position: The Department of Public Service requires assistance with the implementation of a new .Net application enhancement in DMM Program Management, Telecommunications, Electronic Tariff System and DPS project in general. The Department has identified this project as being a high priority item in order to improve the systems efficiency related to their business process which require a contractor’s assistance. The creation of new systems and modification to existing systems include upgrades to Microsoft .Net framework, and modification to existing functionality.
Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: The consultants will serve developers in the .Net Developer Team implementing • Design and Modify system functionality per change request (.Net C, SQL Server, Oracle, FileNet) • Develop Web REST API’s • Develop several enhancements utilizing MVC and Entity Framework. • Identify and correct performance issues in web applications. • Mentor system development team Assistance in development of software/hardware requirements for Development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environment.
