Job description

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care in a clinical setting in Seattle, WA. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility and quality of life. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to credentialing and contractual requirements. Candidates should have an active license and be prepared for a commitment of 13-26 weeks with a focus on day shifts and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to determine physical therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient function and mobility.
  • Document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements.
  • Utilize equipment provided for therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and clearance packets as part of the onboarding process.
  • Adhere to facility policies including dress code and parking arrangements.

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist license valid for Washington state or compact license eligibility.
  • Experience in physical therapy with less than 1 year acceptable.
  • Completion of all credentialing and contract QA requirements prior to assignment start.
  • Ability to commit to a 13 to 26-week contract assignment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within healthcare teams.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Previous travel or contract physical therapy experience.
  • Experience working in acute care or outpatient rehabilitation settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation systems.

Special Considerations:

  • Candidates with prior employment within the last year at ATI are not eligible to return until one year separation.
  • Completion bonuses are offered for contracts signed through the end of September.
  • Equipment for therapy sessions will be provided during the interview or assignment.
  • Parking and dress code details will be provided on the first day.
  • No on-call responsibilities.

Scheduling:

  • Day shifts with a guaranteed workweek of 40 hours.
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x standard rate when applicable.
  • Contract length options include 13, 20, or 26 weeks.
  • Weekly billing cycle.
