A career with us is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the best civil engineers and construction managers.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Senior Engineer (Engineer IV) with a minimum of nine or more years of experience. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is a dependable and adaptable civil engineering professional, with potential to market and win work, ability to supervise a team, and carry out administrative duties. Experience in client management and sales is a plus. They demonstrate growing organizational, leadership and strong communication skills, can work independently while thriving in a team environment, and are personable and professional in their demeanor. This position is onsite and based in our San Mateo office.Responsibilities:Supervises the work of Staff EngineersAssists with preparation of proposals, job performance and serving as the firm's responsible contact with various client Project ManagersWorks to ensure projects are profitable and on schedule and meet the requirements of our clientsMentoring and supporting staffMaintain client relationshipsPerform other responsibilities as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum nine or more years of demonstrated design with project management experienceCalifornia PE License requiredExperience with AutoCAD and Civil 3DExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clientsSelf-motivated and goal oriented, with strong attention to detailSolid experience with the MS Office SuiteWe offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
