Join our GROUP!!!!!Florida's first Segafredo, l'Originale is a hangout spot for locals and visitors on Lincoln Road.Brought over from Italy in 2000, l'Originale is perfect for people watching while enjoying Italian tapas, sipping on a drink from the extensive cocktail menu and listening to great music.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESKeep food standard consistencyOrganizationSet up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report and follow executive chef or GM instructionsClean up station and take care of leftover foodStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashionComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersJOB REQUIREMENTSProven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cookExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFamiliar with industry's best practicesCulinary school diploma a plusEligible to work in the United States.DisclaimerThe statements contained herein reflect general details as necessary to describe the principle functions of any position, the level of knowledge and skill typically required, and the general scope of responsibility, but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.
