We are Escuela, a new concept in Austin coming 2026!


At Escuela, we offer a unique dining experience rooted in fresh, locally sourced ingredients, exceptional service, and a deep connection to place. We use regenerative and organic practices on our five-acre farm to source our ingredients for our food and beverage menus—a true farm to table experience. Set in a beautifully restored 100+ year old schoolhouse in the heart of Oak Hill, our restaurant honors the spirit of learning and community that once filled these walls.


Today, that legacy continues through true Texas hospitality. We invite our guests to have a table right at our farm to tell them stories about our land, our building, and the people behind each plate. Every team member helps carry this story forward, creating thoughtful, memorable experiences for our guests and community.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Bartender to join our team! In this role, you will be expected to operate in a fast-paced environment all while making the guest feel right at home. The ideal candidate is able to navigate the finer techniques within our farm-crafted cocktail program as well as providing an exceptional experience for our patrons. If you are someone who wants to keep learning and achieve growth in this industry, this may be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities
  • Make rounds of cocktails in a timely manner while maintaining consistency and composure
  • Maintain a positive attitude and clean work environment throughout the shift
  • Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and follow all state and federal laws for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Work with your bartending team in a fun, fast-paced environment while still providing world class experiences to our guests
  • Executing a new bar program, everything from new recipes, techniques, etc. (NO bad habits)
  • Perform duties associated with opening, during shift and closing the bar responsibilities
  • Ability to meet the demands of working both inside and outdoors
  • Attending bar meetings and other weekly/monthly classes
Qualifications
  • TABC and Food Handlers REQUIRED upon hire
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2+ years experience in casual/fine dining restaurants or cocktail bars
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, modern classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, etc.
  • Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Experience with Toast POS
