Machine Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire

Aurora, OH | $28–$35/hr | 2nd/3rd Shift

Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician in Aurora, Ohio. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, a full benefits package, and some flexibility with the shift schedule.

Pay & Schedule

• $28–$35/hour, based on experience
• Monday–Friday
• Generally 6:00 PM–2:00 AM
• Hours can be somewhat flexible and may be adjusted to a later 3rd-shift schedule
• Direct hire
• Full benefits package

What You’ll Be Doing

The Machine Maintenance Technician will help keep production equipment and machinery operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment
• Performing preventative and routine maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Repairing or replacing worn and damaged machine components
• Responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing production downtime
• Performing equipment adjustments and assisting with machine setup as needed
• Inspecting machinery to identify potential problems before breakdowns occur
• Using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Documenting completed maintenance and repairs as required
• Working closely with production employees and management to keep equipment running efficiently

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, dependable, and confident troubleshooting industrial equipment. This is not an entry-level maintenance position.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience with industrial or manufacturing machine maintenance and be comfortable diagnosing equipment problems independently. Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is highly desirable.
