The Senior Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing all routine production equipment maintenance and emergency repairs, maintaining spare parts inventory, performing troubleshooting/root cause analysis, and providing excellent customer service and support for our on-site employees and manufacturing operations.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager Engineering/Maintenance/Facilities and is part of the Equipment Maintenance team located in West Sacramento, CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Responsibilities include safely and effectively troubleshooting, diagnosing/repairing, and maintaining process equipment lines such as printing, filling, drying, packaging, glass washing, and autoclaving.
• Participate in and perform process equipment emergency and non-emergency repairs, scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, spare parts organization, part fabrication, and complete assigned work orders on time.
• Participate in and perform a multitude of tasks including (but not limited to) routine equipment maintenance, opening/closing work requests, completing work order required documentation, completing required training, participating in Kaizen events/initiatives, and completing all assigned work requests on time.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of successful experience working as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic in a manufacturing/production or industrial environment.
• Previous electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience is required. Must be able to safely and effectively troubleshoot, repair, and maintain process equipment. These repairs may include the use of basic hand tools as well as a mill, lathe, drill press, and/or welding equipment.

Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb as well as other physical requirements.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Manufacturing/Production environment, medical device manufacturing and/or other FDA-regulated industry and certifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Welding, or other relevant job skills is preferred.
• Using a computer to send and receive e-mails, open and update work orders, enter timesheet information, and ability to learn and utilize computerized work order and PM systems (CMMS).
• Welding and metal parts fabrication.

The hourly range for this role is 27.02 – 47.22. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
