Solar Impact Inc. is searching for an experienced Solar Installer / Electrician to join our Operations Team in Gainesville, FL. The person in this role is responsible for efficiently installing solar and electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The ideal candidate for this position possesses the following traits:
1 - 3 years of solar and electrical experience
Hands-on experience with NEC
Ability to work independently and on a team
Ability to read construction drawings
Close attention to detail and process
Working knowledge of digital devices and programs

Compensation:$18 - $24 per hour DOE
1 to 3 years of prior electrical experience or participation in the Electrical Apprentice program strongly preferred
A valid driver's license and insurability are required
Must reside in the greater Gainesville area
A High School Diploma or GED is required
Must be capable of working at great heights
Able to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb ladders for prolonged periods
Must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds
Must comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures
Availability to work overtime and weekends is required
Must be safety-conscious and continuously work in a manner that prevents accidents
