  • Monitor utility usage and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Support hotel inspections and ensure compliance with Marriott brand, safety, and company standards.
  • Assist with Engineering-related budgeting, purchasing, and expense control.
  • Plan and execute maintenance projects, renovations, and property improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire/life-safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs before they impact guests.
  • Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and exceptional service.
  • Partner with the General Manager and hotel leadership on property condition, maintenance priorities, and capital needs.
  • Ensure the hotel remains safe, clean, comfortable, efficient, and fully operational.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
  • Experience leading and developing an Engineering/Maintenance team.

  • Marriott or extended-stay hotel experience is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to guest satisfaction, team safety, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to emergencies, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
