Overview

Job Summary :

The Anesthesia Technician provides technical support and performs routine duties relevant to the Department of Anesthesia.

Job Responsibilities :

Maintains the cleanliness of all anesthetic equipment and routinely stocks all anesthesia supplies.

Prepares equipment and supplies for use by anesthesiologist and CRNAs and assists as directed.

Prepares operating room for surgical patient, reviews preference cards, to determine surgeon needs, obtains the necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure, ensures cleanliness of room, and assists with opening sterile supplies

Delivers intraoperative care as an assistant to the surgeon as a collaborative team member

Boone has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Degrees : High School Diploma or GED

Experience :

Supervisor Experience : None-Required

Licenses & Certifications : None-Required

Preferred Qualifications :

Degrees : Bachelor’s Degree
