Schedule: This position is fully in-person. 4 days in the office and 1 clinical day/scholarly development day. Year round.

• Teaches in the didactic and clinical phases of the Masters of Science Physician Assistant Program (MSPAS) curriculum.

• Participates in scholarship and service activities as indicated in university and department policies.

• Develops, implements, and evaluates new instructional experiences and MSPAS entry-level curriculum.

• Participates in all aspects of ongoing program assessment and complies with Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Standards.

• Develops individualized learning objectives and competencies required for the successful completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Would be expected to attend a PAEA or PANDO workshop for faculty development. [Required]

Education:
• Master's [Required]

Field of Study:
• from a Physician Assistant Program or related higher education field.
• At least one peer reviewed publication while as Instructor.[preferred] Acceptable publications, such as journal articles, books, and book chapters, shall be published in periodicals or venues recognized by the appropriate academic or professional organizations at the national level and/or professional accrediting associations.

Work Experience:
• 3+ years of clinical experience [Required]
• Experience teaching at the graduate level [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Physician Assistant (PA) [Required]
•National Commission of Certification of PA's (NCCPA) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$60,151.66 - $123,073.07
