We believe in growing and cultivating careers here.There is plenty of room for growth for motivated people.Hard work should be rewarded.We are committed to providing competitive compensation with a great benefits package, including tuition reimbursement, parental leave, paid volunteer hours, and unlimited PTO.Our flexible work environment also enables you to take advantage of an excellent work-life balance whether you are in office or working remotely.The RoleThis role will lead the Architecture, design, and deployment of network solutions.Responsibilities will include developing specifications, implementing and maintaining cloud network security architecture for systems applications, performing and managing network design upgrades and hardware reconfigurations in a hybrid environment, diagnosing and resolving routing and interconnectivity issues, and overall ensuring the availability, reliability, integrity, and efficient operation of the systems that support the AWS Cloud and hosted applications.There will be on-call hours for this position on a rotating schedule (typically twice a month).Job Duties :Responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of the network infrastructure including, routers, switches, and firewallsProvides the technical designs and configurations for infrastructure security including VPN services, security policies and firewall configurationsExperience with building and troubleshooting Site-to-Site VPNsStrong knowledge of all types of Network Address Translations (NAT)Extensive knowledge of Cisco ASA firewalls, routers and switches (Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, ASDM)Extensive understanding of physical and logical network segmentation including VLANs and IP subnettingVast knowledge in TCP / IP configurations, network addressing, and IP address managementSkilled in network routing protocols including OSPF and BGPStrong expertise in troubleshooting network issues including connectivity and latency for production environmentsAbility to configure and maintain network management and monitoring systemsProvides escalated on and off hours support for all escalated IT issues and cutoversExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrate a drive and passion for continuous improvement in all aspects of workRequirements :Bachelor's degree in areas such as Computer Systems Engineering, Network Security Management, Information Technology or Computer Science7years proven Network Engineer experience - Particularly Cisco routing and switchingStrong Knowledge of routing protocols - (BGP, OSPF etc.)Experience configuring Cisco ASA firewalls including managing firewall rulesExperience in scripting using Python or Ansible for automationVPN Configuration and Troubleshooting experienceExposure to AWS cloud environment would be a plusCisco CCNP or equivalent experienceStrong aptitude for troubleshooting and / or isolating network related problemsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentOccasionally work evenings and weekends to accommodate global customer change windowsCertifications are a huge plus!
