Job Description :As a Digital Accessibility Web Developer, you will be responsible for remediating critical accessibility issues across public-facing websites, applications, forms, and digital platforms.You will apply expert-level web development skills in HTML, CSS, ARIA, and JavaScript to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards.Key Responsibilities :Apply accessibility fixes to front-end code and markup issues identified through auditsModify and restructure HTML, CSS, and ARIA to meet WCAG 2.1 standardsRemediate issues within CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Salesforce, and WordPressSupport content and design teams with accessibility guidance for documents and embedded mediaUse defect tracking tools like JIRA to manage tickets and document fixesCollaborate with accessibility testers and content strategists to validate remediated workShare remediation patterns and best practices with development teamsWork iteratively in agile sprints to address prioritized accessibility ticketsRequired Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field4years of experience remediating digital accessibility issuesStrong coding experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA markupWorking knowledge of Sitecore and Salesforce platformsFamiliarity with Biznet applications, AWS infrastructure, and enterprise back-end platformsAbility to interpret automated and manual testing results (e.g., Axe, ANDI, NVDA, JAWS)Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.1 standards and assistive technology interactionsProficiency in CMS templates, JavaScript frameworks, backend API configuration, and UI librariesExperience troubleshooting keyboard traps, focus management, and responsive layoutsStrong ability to manage remediation tickets and track progress in JIRAExcellent communication and documentation skillsDesired Certifications :IAAP WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist) - strongly preferredIAAP CPACCDHS Trusted Tester CertificationDeque University Developer Track CertificateSalesforce Accessibility Champion or similarThe hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $70.00 / hr.Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.cyberThink is an Equal Opportunity Employer..
