Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Cognitive Medical Systems, Inc.Pay RangeThis range is provided by Cognitive Medical Systems, Inc.Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience -- talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base Pay Range$90,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yrAbout Cognitive Medical SystemsCognitive is an IT and software engineering services company dedicated to elevating the quality, speed and delivery of today's US government healthcare programs.With a wealth of clinical expertise and hands-on experience, our team understands the significant challenges our government clients--and their customers--face every day.This real-world experience equips us to develop IT solutions that seamlessly connect all facets of healthcare delivery.At Cognitive, we're guiding government agencies to the forefront of technology innovation in healthcare delivery.Position OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Full Stack UI Developer to join our team.In this role, you will design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces, while also contributing to backend services.This position is suitable for a developer who enjoys working across the full stack, from front-end design to backend integration.The ideal candidate will have strong front-end development skills and experience and knowledge of modern web technologies, particularly in building user interfaces for complex data-driven applications.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain user interfaces for web applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript libraries, jQuery and related technologies.Implement UI components for Power Pages applications and government portals.Collaborate with API developers to integrate front-end interfaces with backend services.Collaborate with UX / UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive user experiences.Leverage web services to access data from other systems.Design, write, unit test, and document application code.Use in-depth understanding of the Power Platform to solve technical and business problems.Read and interpret documentation such as requirements definitions, user stories, technical articles and procedure manuals.Write clear, concise documentation, including reports, requirements, design specifications, and client communications.Provide critical thinking, problem solving, and design skills, and most critically, attention to performance, scalability, reliability, and availability at the system and component level.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 3-5 years of related software development experience.Strong experience with jQuery, JavaScript, REST APIs.Proficiency in C# /.Net 8.0+, with experience in Entity Framework.Solid understanding of SQL (queries, optimization, relational database design).Experience with Azure DevOps for CI / CD pipelines and Azure API Management (APIM).Familiarity with agile development practices, version control systems (Git) and pull request workflows.U.S.citizenship required, with the ability to pass a government background check.Preferred QualificationsExperience with form validation, error handling, and user experience best practices.Minimum 3 years' experience converting wireframe designs into production web interfaces, or equivalent UI development experience.3years of experience with Power Platform development, including writing custom code in Power Automate.Experience working with REST web services.Why Join Us?Be part of a mission-driven organization making a difference in healthcare IT.Collaborate with innovative and passionate professionals that are there to support you at every turn.Enjoy a supportive work / life balance with the flexibility of a 100% remote company.Benefit from opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic environment.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesSoftware Development#J-18808-Ljbffr.
