Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are an organization of talented, dedicated individuals delivering high-quality software to the public sector and non-profit worlds, improving the lives of citizens and helping government and non-profit agencies achieve their missions.You are an organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for web-based and digital experiences.Portland Webworks is seeking to fill an immediate contract-based position tasked with creating pages of content for a website migration project.This individual will work with a small team of content migrators, web designers, and technical consultants to complete a site migration into Drupal 10 or a similar content management system.Our intent is to assign this individual to an immediate project expected to last 2-3 months (approximately November 1 2025 into January 2026), with the potential to extend several more months.The successful candidate will bring :Strong communication skillsEffective time management and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work efficiently in an autonomous settingCommitment to quality of deliverables and attention to detailAbility to work independently and to contribute to a teamEnthusiasm for creating effective and user-friendly web pages from a toolkit of content componentsPrior experience working with a content management system or in web-based communications; Drupal preferredAbility to generate pages in a CMS, from existing source material, quickly and efficiently, including following guidance already compiled or to be compiled relating to minor adjustments and consolidation of pages.Responsibilities will include :Contributing to migration planning, mapping, and content analysisCopying existing content into the new content management system using a set of content toolsUploading and organizing media assets (PDFs, images, etc.)Basic content QAFollowing instructions relating to using the appropriate content / page type and page structure to useEnsuring the high quality and accuracy of generated pages to minimize rework, iteration, and errorsIf you are looking for a friendly, team-oriented environment where you can make a difference in the lives of citizens and gain valuable experience in software development and design, content strategy, government services, and web-based communications, we look forward to hearing from you.While the work will be completed remotely, the physical / working location of the candidate must be in the United States.This position is also subject to a basic background check by our organization as well as a fingerprinting process and background check required for this specific client's engagement.Based on the terms and duration of this position, candidates should expect to use their own hardware and an internet connection is required.Learn More About Portland Webworks & GovWebworksLinkedIn Facebook Twitter Instagram5 Times Best Places to Work WinnerOur Team Our ClientsPowered by JazzHRR5QfZRz5dP.
