  • $70,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience and certifications Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with 5% company match Work-Life Balance: Enjoy 2 weeks of paid time off to start, 1 week of paid sick leave , and 12 paid holidays each year Professional Growth: O btain additional certifications on the company’s dime to advance toward Senior Building Inspector or Building Official roles High-Impact Work: Play a key role in ensuring construction quality and safety across projects What You’ll Do Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards Review project documents, attend pre-construction meetings, and coordinate with contractors and local authorities Maintain detailed records and prepare timely, professional reports Address questions and concerns from clients and contractors, providing expert guidance Participate in training and company initiatives Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspections Current ICC certifications ; TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License required in Texas Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety standards Skilled in reading and interpreting construction plans Organized record-keeping and willingness to learn new inspection software About Aoka Aoka is a third-party municipal services provider serving federal, state, and local governments with code compliance, inspections, and consulting.
