Job description
Primary Care group in Mobile, AL is seeking to add a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician to their team. Faculty appointment for brand new Family Medicine residency program included. Director role optional, if desired.

  • Team is extremely cohesive and fantastic to work with
  • 8 MDs, 8 APPs
  • Schedule is M-F
  • Call is every 8 weeks
  • Very beautiful up to date campus

Join a patient-centered family medical care practice focused on providing compassionate and convenient quality healthcare regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. Group takes care of your physical and mental health needs through their integrated health care program with a collaboration between health professionals to provide complete treatment to patients and improve their overall well-being (psychological and physical).

The Community:

Known as "The Azalea City" to locals, people love living in Mobile for its waterfront metropolitan areas and outdoor recreation. It hosted the first Mardi Gras in North America, and its social calendar still revolves around the celebration, which is an official holiday in Mobile County. Streets throng with family-friendly parades, and evening balls host thousands of celebrants dressed to the nines. Mardi Gras here relies on dozens of “mystic societies,” which meet throughout the year to build floats and socialize.

Part of Mobile's appeal is its proximity to a number of spots for outdoor recreation. Sporting enthusiasts have easy access to hunting areas like the Mobile Delta, and fishing in deep ocean water, lakes and streams. Mobile's location on the Gulf of Mexico puts residents les s than an hour away from multiple Gulf Coast beaches.

Mobile may be a growing, vibrant metro area, but its cost of living falls well below the national average, with housing being particularly inexpensive. Even homes in restored historic neighborhoods can have surprisingly low price points. Downtown is booming with the addition of condos and lofts. With young adults eager for urban living, Mobile is rapidly renovating and working to create a pedestrian-friendly core.
