Purpose and Job Summary of the position:
To support and assist the production team with transporting harvesting corn from the field to the Nampa facility
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to understand directions to field locations
- Takes direction well and works great in a team environment
- Must possess a Valid Commercial Driver's license
- Must have a DOT medical card
Education/Experience
- Below high school diploma with relevant experience: high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Farm/harvest driving - multiple types of trucks, including split-axel transmission: 1 year (preferred)
This position is expected to last 6 to 10 weeks

Employee may be required to sit in truck for extended periods of time, use of hands is required for shifting gears, opening truck doors and gates as well as communicate using walkie talkies and or cb radios. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. Ability to work in open field environment where summer temperatures can exceed 105°F.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be driving cars, trucks, forklifts, or other equipment. This position will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee may need to walk on uneven ground and work near equipment or machinery.
