About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice instructor to substitute teach at The Music Box in Lafayette, LA whenever the need arises. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON! Preference will be given multi-instrumentalist candidates.
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $20-$26/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Health benefit options are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.

This posting is specifically for The Music Box, in Lafayette, Louisiana. The Music Box has provided the premier music lesson experience in Acadiana since 2012. We support students of all ages in their musical pursuits while fostering Confidence and Creativity through Music! We take pride in customizing the learning experience and guiding our students through every stage of their musical journeys.
We focus on the core musical instruments, specifically piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, bass, and elevate the learning experience with our exciting live concerts and recording sessions. To us, music is magic and the experience of learning to sing or play an instrument should be dazzling.
