Job description

🌟 Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield has an opening for a PRN Dietary Cook!

We are an accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility specifically designed for adolescents age 6-17.

We focus on providing exceptional treatment and support to children, adolescents, and their families. 🍽️ The Dietary Cook's responsibilities include some of the following:

  • ✅ Ensures meals are ready at a specified time. ✅ Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus. ✅ Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same. ✅ Test’s food being cooked to ensure doneness.

Adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed. ✅ Ensure kitchen and dining room area is clean and sanitized. ⭐ Qualified candidates should have the following:
