Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Receive, label, store, and ship samples; manage sample disposition and hazardous waste.
- Execute product and equipment testing as per protocols, methods, and schedules.
- Analyze test data using Excel, JMP, and Minitab; prepare draft reports and support report reviews.
- Maintain lab supplies, ensure lab cleanliness, and organize storage areas.
- Follow SOPs, quality systems, and documentation requirements.
- Report and assist with investigations of quality events such as OOS results and deviations.
- Support creation and maintenance of test protocols, reports, and equipment logs under supervision.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and escalate issues when needed.
- Collaborate effectively and contribute to process improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in laboratory services, medical devices, pharma, IVD, or related engineering/science environments.
- Prior laboratory experience is mandatory (academic lab/internship/CO-OP is acceptable).
- Experience with test execution, documentation, and data handling is preferred.
- Hands-on laboratory skills and understanding of testing workflows.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (JMP/Minitab).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to documentation standards.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with GLP, cGMP, ISO, and ASTM standards (preferred).
- Associate's degree in an engineering or science-related field required.
- Applicants must have demonstrated prior lab experience (internship, project, or CO-OP).
- Ability to work in a structured laboratory environment and follow quality systems.
