What You’ll Do
- Conduct diagnostic hearing tests, including pure tone air/bone conduction, speech audiometry, and impedance testing for a diverse patient population
- Interpret test results and communicate findings to patients and physicians
- Recommend follow-up medical care, hearing aids, ear protection, and other interventions
- Perform hearing aid evaluations and fittings, providing detailed instructions on use and maintenance
- Conduct routine hearing aid maintenance and troubleshooting for devices purchased through the clinic
- Collaborate with a healthcare team to provide patient-centered audiology services
What You Need
- Valid Washington State license (preferred)
- Successful completion of a master’s or doctorate degree program with clinical practicum (AuD from a board-approved institution or Master’s with Certificate of Clinic Competency)
- Current BLS Certification
- Key Skills: patient care, diagnostic testing, hearing aid fitting, communication
