Exemplary care and comfort is an important part of every resident’s day at Providence Senior Living. As a Medications Technician you play a critical role in how each resident may receive that care and to help us fulfill our goal of creating the best day possible.
Duties:
Provide care that follows a personalized medication and treatment service plan.
Administer or assist with the administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
May also provide care and assistance with the functions of daily living, including but not limited to dressing, bathing, walking, and feeding.
Maintain residents’ health and medication records and resident charts by timely documenting any changes in health, incidents, and observation of unusual occurrences.
Respond quickly to emergencies and follow Providence Living guidelines for reporting events
Maintain resident confidentiality
Communicate effectively with all staff, residents, and their families
Assist with training of new Certified Nursing Assistants
Assist community in maintaining all public, staff and residential areas
Wear appropriate PPE throughout shift as regulated by CDC and local regulatory guidelines
Adhere to an updated State or Federal Regulations, including but not limited to COVID and other Infectious Virus and Disease procedures
Complete all require training and in-service recertification
Safety is an important part of the Providence Living culture, as such, all policies and procedures for workplace safety must be observed while on property
