Job description
Role:Developer/Programmer Location:REMOTE Duration:12months contract Job Description:The following document contains the samples tasks and qualifications for this MNSITE Event.o Work in collaboration with MNIT Services @ DHS application development staff to enhance the application's maintainability, efficiency, accessibility, user experience, and resolving of identified issues (bug fixes) and recommend changes as per business requirements.o Understand and merge both the technology base and customer business goals.o Develop and run test scripts to ensure rules are working as required.o Work with testers and subject matter experts to identify code changes and additions.o Identify and recommend specific code changes to State staff.o Work with the Technical Architects and Leads to gain a comprehensive and up to date understanding of the software application developed by open source community.o Work with the Business Analysts (BA) and Quality Assurance (QA) and subject matter experts (SME) to identify changes, additions, and or enhancements due to application errors or bugs.o Perform software development maintenance (bug fixes) for the project change requests, as this position requires a strong software development background.o Maintain and follow Object Oriented programming best practices.o Consult and collaborate with in-house experts to ensure UI Standards are properly implemented and applied in the application.o Perform comprehensive system and application code testing so that application deployments are working without errors and application codes are error free.o Ensure application code sets are checked in to the code repository with no coding errors.o Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for MNITS @ DHS staff.o Complete DHS Data Privacy training and pass criminal background check.o Provide knowledge transfer.Minimum Qualifications o Seven (7) years' experience with Java development o Five (5) years' combined Java based User Interface experience web development with the following:HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and JQuery o Four (4) years' experience with automated testing o Four (4) years' experience with Spring MVC o Four (4) years' Drools experience, specifically with Decision tables o Four (4) years' experience developing a State Medicaid Provider Enrollment application.Desired Skills:o Two (2) years combined experience in designing and architecting applications o Two (2) years' experience with web services o Experience working with WebSphere application server o Experience working with JPA/Hibernate o Experience with web application testing frameworks (e.g.Selenium/WebDriver) o Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks o Experience with Maven o Experience with Eclipse o Experience with Oracle Database Thanks and Regards, Vinay Kumar Technical Recruiter 1601 N Harrison Ave, STE # 2B, Pierre, SD 57501 Phone:605-220-5981 Ext.114 Direct:605-640-5005 vinaykumar.C@my3tech.com F:(605) 609-2010 W:www.my3tech.com Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) An E-Verify Company Disclaimer:The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.Any review, retransmission, dissemination or other use of, or taking of any action in reliance upon, this information by persons or entities other than the intended recipient is prohibited.If you received this in error, please contact the sender and delete the material from any computer or if you want to be REMOVED please reply with REMOVE in the Subject line of this email..
