JCM Associates, Inc. is hiring Licensed Commercial Plumbers for full time year-round positions in Baltimore, MD.About us: JCM Associates Inc. is a leading provider of commercial HVAC and plumbing services throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. We work and partner with premier owners, developers, contractors, vendors, and manufacturers in the industry. Our work is primarily focused on commercial mixed-use, medical, university, and government projects. Some of these past and current projects include, The Wharf Phases 1 & 2 in Washington DC, The Baltimore Arena (CFG Bank Stadium) , University of Maryland New Residences, The Anthem, Catholic University and many more. Our main office and fabrication facilities are in Upper Marlboro, MD - located just 20 minutes from DC. At the office we have an in-house gym as well as many social functions throughout the year.Key Responsibilities:Job sites include commercial construction projects of various sizesUnder the general supervision of a designated supervisor, install, maintain, and repair heating, plumbing and gas piping systems.Repair, install, and maintain plumbing, hydronic piping, and gas pipingAssemble and install piping, valves, and fitting.Minimum Skills/Requirements:Holds an active Journeyman's License in the state of Maryland or DC5-10 years of experience with commercial mechanical projectsStrong communication skillsKnowledge of commercial HVAC systems Ability to read, understand and work from drawings, specifications and schematicsUnderstands written and verbal instructionsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentAttendance, reliability, dependability and flexibilityAbility to interact with multiple personality types while ensuring a positive outcomeKnowledge of appropriate tools and equipment to install piping and plumbing systems.Knowledge of welding, brazing, threading and other plumbing and piping techniques.Maintain and service the tools and equipment necessary to install plumbing and piping systems.Sufficient knowledge of pipe hanging and support installations.Have sufficient knowledge of safe working practices and maintain and support company safety programs and attend company safety training.Incentives/Benefits:Top Industry CompensationBonus EligibilityPaid HolidaysPaid Vacation401KCompany-funded retirement planHealth, Disability and Life insuranceJob Type: Full TimeDrug Free / E.O.E.
