JOB OVERVIEW Job Description Summary: The Division for Student Affairs cultivates an inclusive community that supports connection, growth, and well-being for every student throughout their GW journey. DSA’s integrated approach is to provide a cohesive student experience built upon the core values of genuine collaboration, a compassionate approach, and, most importantly, putting students at the center of the work. Within DSA, the Student Health Center (SHC), a multidisciplinary, integrated, student healthcare service, serves as the primary healthcare agency for GW students and the entire student community. SHC provides easy access to high-quality care to enable students to return to classes as quickly as possible.
The Student Health Center seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive clinical assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for students within an integrated, holistic model of care.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Medical Services, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the following:
Perform other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. Minimum Qualifications: Qualified candidates will hold a Masters degree in nursing, or its equivalent, 4 years of primary health care experience, and DC certification as a registered Nurse Practitioner.
