What You’ll Do
  • Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures on patients of all ages, including inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases.
  • Verify physician orders, prepare patients, and explain procedures ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Adhere to MRI safety standards and protocols to maintain a secure environment.
  • Assist radiologists with MRI exams, administer contrast media as needed.
  • Evaluate the technical quality of MRI images for clarity and accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, performing calibration, safety checks, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Document and report equipment issues and perform routine quality control in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain excellent patient care and communication throughout procedures.
What You Need
Required:
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Minimum of 2 years MRI experience
  • Illinois state license or ability to obtain one
  • Proficiency with MRI equipment and safety protocols
  • Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills

Preferred:
  • Prior experience working night shifts
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
