Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
This is a first-shift Mechanical Assembly position. The primary focus is on assembling solar panel power boxes and switchboards in a large, clean, and quiet manufacturing facility. The position involves working Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Work on the assembly line as part of a team, focusing on non-automated processes.
- Pull and spool wire, read blueprints, and determine part placement within panels.
- Use hand tools, air power tools, and torque wrenches for assembly tasks.
- Screw in nuts and bolts, strip wires, and assemble power boxes.
- Aim to assemble 64 panels per day after training.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Experience using basic hand tools
- Ability to read a tape measure

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
