Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

This is a first-shift Mechanical Assembly position. The primary focus is on assembling solar panel power boxes and switchboards in a large, clean, and quiet manufacturing facility. The position involves working Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Work on the assembly line as part of a team, focusing on non-automated processes.
• Pull and spool wire, read blueprints, and determine part placement within panels.
• Use hand tools, air power tools, and torque wrenches for assembly tasks.
• Screw in nuts and bolts, strip wires, and assemble power boxes.
• Aim to assemble 64 panels per day after training.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Experience using basic hand tools
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Experience with foot pedal crimper and pneumatic tools is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
